PMRT Training

The Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT) System integrates infrastructure, hardware and software to provide AF and DoD life cycle acquisition organizations with an integrated tool set to manage their programs. PMRT is comprised of applications and infrastructure.

PMRT training sessions are offered for many of the applications that fall under the PMRT enterprise system. These sessions are offered via the Defense Collaboration Services (DCS). A description of each sesssion as well as the DCS link for each is below:

CCaR Administration Overview (2 Hours): This session is designed for CCaR Administrators and will provide an overview of items contained within the Admin menu.     23
CCaR Advanced Reports (1 Hour): The Advanced Reporting Tool allows users to create customizable reports using predefined templates.  This session will include how to add, edit and delete reports within CCaR and how to customize those reports within BIRT Studio. 11 17 17
CCaR Budget Authority Editor (1 Hour): The Budget Authority Editor is the control center for Budget and CCaR record allocations. This session will provide an overview of the Budget Authority Editor and will include how to update and allocate funding.   3 3
CCaR Budget Builder Tool (1 Hour): The Budget Builder Tool allows users to create Budget Packages for use in Budget Formulation, Budget Execution and Budget What-If drills. This session will provide an overview of the items contained within the Budget Builder Tool.   14 14
CCaR Business Management Review (BMR) (1 Hour): The Business Management Review (BMR) Tool collects financial and programmatic data and is used to create briefings that can be exported directly to PowerPoint. This session will provide an overview of the items contained within the BMR Tool. 9 13 13
CCaR Contract Management (1 Hour): CCaR allows users to track obligation and expenditure information on major contracts at the detailed levels necessary to perform in-depth contract tracking, analysis and reconciliation. This session will provide an overview of the items contained within the Contract Management menu.   9 9
CCaR Distributed Budgets Functionality (1 Hour): CCaR allows users to distribute and receive funds electronically using database links. This session will provide an overview of the Distributed Budget Manager and instructions on how to distribute funding from the Budget Authority Editor and CCaR record.   8 8
CCaR Essentials (1 Hour): This session is designed for new CCaR users and will provide a basic system overview, including capabilities, how to log in and navigate to the various functionalities. 1 1 1
CCaR Forecasting (1 Hour): CCaR provides organizations with event-driven commitment, obligation and expenditure forecasting capabilities. This session will provide an overview on how to view, create and update forecasts. 5 5 5
CCaR Incoming Documents (1 Hour): The Incoming Documents Tool allows users to enter, track and execute funding documents received from other organizations. This session will provide an overview of the information contained within the Incoming Documents Tool.   7 7

CCaR Program Tool (2 Hours): The Program Tool creates a central interface for users to organize, manage and present relevant program information. This session will provide an overview of the information contained within the Program Tool. 6 12 12
CCaR Reconciliation (1 Hour): CCaR provides organizations with tools that allow users to view and reconcile CCaR (organizational) and DFAS (official accounting system) data in one location. This session will provide an overview of the items contained with the Reconciliation menu.   11 11
CCaR Record Execution & Funding Document Overview (1.5 Hours): This session will provide an overview of the CCaR record execution window and the items contained within. Funding documents will be covered in this session. 3 4 4
CCaR Reimbursable Activities (1 Hour): The Reimbursable Activities Tool allows organizations to track reimbursable funds from receipt through the entire execution cycle. This session will provide an overview of the items contained within the Reimbursable Activities Tool and the reports available for Reimbursable Activities.   15 15
CCaR Reports (1 Hour): CCaR provides users many different formats to display requirement, execution, forecast data and much more. This session will provide an overview of the various budgeting, execution and coordination reports available. 4 10 10
CCaR Requirements Management (1 Hour): This session will provide an overview of the data contained within a CCaR record as well as guidance on how to open, create, release, coordinate and update the records. 2 2 2
CCaR Should Cost (1 Hour): This session will cover how to generate and publish Should Cost data sets. Training will focus on Program Cost Estimates, Cost Initiatives and Should Cost Publishing sections of the Program Tool. 8 22 22
CCaR Target Load Tool (1 Hour): The Target Load Tool is used by Air Force organizations to centrally manage accounting address information and to create documentation to load and move funding. This session will provide an overview of the items contained within the Target Load Tool.   6 6
CCaR Unfunded Requirements (UFR) Tool (1 Hour): This session will provide an overview of the Unfunded Requirement functionality: CCaR Record – Unfunded Requirements, UFR Reporting Tool, UFR Call and UFR Admin Tool.  10 16 16
PMRT Enterprise Analytics (EA) (1.5 Hours): PMRT EA utilizes the vast data resources of PMRT with the analytics capabilities of Qlik Sense to provide a powerful means of quickly generating numerous visualizations, in particular dashboards, for high-impact insights into the status or health of organizations, programs. This session will provide the basic navigation for creating data visualizations within the PMRT EA application. 12 18 18
PMRT Monthly Acquisition Reporting (MAR) (1 Hour): A reporting application designed to generate, maintain, review and warehouse program MARs. This application is primarily used by Acquisition Program Offices, Program Executive Officers (PEOs) and SAF/AQXE. This session will cover the different sections of this application and also includes how to create and process a MAR for a program. 14 20 20
